Pray for: Our Neighbors
Please pray for your neighbors by name.  Ask God to move in their lives.  Ask God to show you ways you can speak into their lives or ways you can serve Him.  Ask God to show you harsh attitudes or feelings that you may have against your neighbors.  Ask God to give you courage to pursue reconciliation.  Ask God to show you His mercy for your neighbor.
Please also pray for our neighbors as a church.   Pray for those who are in our sphere of influence that we can serve them and show them Jesus’ love.  Pray for conversations to begin with our neighbors that we might be able to engage them and love them.  Pray that we as a church would be able to show our neighbors that Jesus is relevant and give them a glimpse of what it means to be truly alive.  Pray that as a church we can see what the Father is doing in our neighbors lives and cooperate with Him in what He is doing. Pray that we can help others to MEET, MORPH, and MOBILIZE.  Pray for our neighbors in the 7th Ward who we serve by giving them food, that we can find ways to tackle real justice issues in their neighborhoods.  Pray that we would understand our role as followers of Jesus to be missionaries to those around us.  Pray that God would draw those to us who do not know Him and that we would be prepared to care for them.
